Million Women Rise

It’s the annual Million Women Rise March on Saturday. Violence against women was one of the issues that came up again and again at our last meeting.

At the meeting on Tuesday, both Beatrice and Caroline talked about electoral reform and the introduction of a form of proportional representation (PR) in the voting system as one way which could increase the numbers of women in Parliament.
