Body confidence trainer Lizzie Bailey brings her expertise to London for a one-off
event in conjunction with Progressive Women. Women are under constant pressure to
prioritise and scrutinise their appearance. This affects us all differently, but
for many women it means a struggle for self-acceptance and a tendency to be unduly
self-critical. Lizzie Bailey knows this all too well, having struggled herself with
body image issues. That's why she set up lookPositive as a counterpoint to the negative
pressure women feel around their bodies all the time in modern society.
Lizzie will be sharing her tips and helping women work together to look positively
at their bodies in a supportive, interactive body confidence workshop. This event
offers a friendly and sensitive environment for anyone who's ever felt 'less than'
in the face of the beauty myth. Let's work together to embrace diversity! Everyone
This event is highly likely to sell out in advance as spaces are limited so please
book now to avoid disappointment. You don't need to bring anything other than an
open mind, but we would really appreciate your feedback after the event so we can
make our future events even better. We look forward to seeing you there!
Food and drink is served at the venue, but is not included in the ticket price. However,
it is 2 for 1 on cocktails from 7-9pm for those who fancy a tipple! Please also note
this event is down some stairs.
