We’re very excited to announce that we now have all our speakers confirmed for what should prove to be a very interesting discussion next Wednesday evening.
24th February 2009
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Committee Room 20, House of Commons, SW1A 0AA
Confirmed speakers are:
Roberta Blackman-Woods MP (Lab): MP for City of Durham and Co-Chair of the PLP Women’s Committee
Mary MacLeod (Con): PPC for Brentford and Isleworth,
Baroness Walmsley (Lib Dem)
Natalie Bennett (Green): PPC for Holborn and St Pancras and Chair of Green Party Women
Each speaker will outline their party’s policies and answer your questions about what the upcoming election will mean for women, and what their party will do if elected.
This will be the closest election for many years and your vote counts. Come along to hear from the parties themselves about their vision and their plans. Bring your friends and your questions.
Please do RSVP to mary@progressivewomen.org.uk and don’t forget to tell other Progressive Women you know.
We hope to see you there.
Brooke, Mary, and Caroline
